Based in the enchanting lands of deep West Cornwall, we find constant inspiration in the churning ocean and ancient standing stones perched on the hills and endless swirling storms that roll in off the bay. Influenced by Renaissance paintings, early black and white documentary photography and indie cinema, we delight in telling the nuanced stories of human beings and their experiences through a mixture of Digital & Analogue Photography and video. Our style is playful, thoughtful & charming - we love belly laughs and joy, tears and little gestures and we’re more than happy with an arty lil’ portrait brief too. Whether you’re a camera shy introvert or sassy camera connoisseur - we roll with our couples and the vibes they bring. Our clients tend to be artists, creatives, daydreamers & romantics - lovers of whimsy and looking for wedding photography that’s artful and sentimental.

We are proud to be a body positive, LGBTQ+ safe space & ally.

The most important thing to us is that our couples have the best wedding day they could possibly have. We are not there to monopolise our brides and grooms and turn their precious celebration into a photoshoot. That’s why we call our coverage β€˜Natural Storytelling.’ It means that we follow the flow of the day as it happens capturing the authentic moments in a thoughtful and sensitive way so that when our couples look back on their wedding albums, they’ll feel transported back to the moment and remember how it felt, not being ordered about.

Our Approach

FUN, PLAYFUL & FULL OF WHIMSY

LGBTQ+ queer safe space wedding photographer in cornwall and Devon

Our wedding galleries consist of around 60% natural documentary photographs of guests weeping, laughing, standing around drinking champagne and getting rowdy on the dance floor. The other 40% is made up of a blend of the little details of the day; how the sky looked, which flowers were in bloom that day, nooks and crannies of the venue, the beautiful flowers and decor that our couples chose as well as those key portraits and couple photos. We’re totally led by our couple’s vibes on these as to the scale from painfully mushy to American Gothic they want to go, as we tailor our approach to suit each and every wedding we attend. Everyone has a different vibe and that’s what we’re looking for. No routines or set formulas here. Oh, and if you don’t want to do family line up photos? We’re not going to make you do them.
