Anna & Aude’s wedding began at 7pm in November in the Roman Bath’s, so unlike most of our weddings, it took place completely in darkness lit by the torches and light of the full moon that shone down over the ancient venue. With their roots in history & literature, of course they would have planned such a witchy & fairytale celebration bringing their families and friends together from France and the British isles to share in a scene that was straight out of a renaissance painting.
Also, rather unusually, the evening began with fireworks (it was Bonfire Night) kicking off the celebrations and it finished with some rather spectacular dancing to the Time Warp beneath the beautiful domed ceilings of one of Bath’s most historic venues. And yes, we absolutely did join in on the Time Warp.
