A Fairytale Family Elopement at the Cornish Place among the Bluebells

bride in blue embroidered gown and spring bouquet walking through the bluebells in a woodland with her groom following her cornish elopement

In the merry month of May, Lauren & Ollie were wed in the charming woodshed nestled in the heart of a bluebell laden Cornish Valley…

It was a pastel soft spring afternoon and the apple blossom were blooming abundantly in the Orchard. Lauren & Ollie had planned a little getaway, not all too far from their home town but still a respite hidden away in the wilds of mid Cornwall at the Cornish place. A sanctuary of nature and rural pastoralism, the setting is a picture of rolling hills, winding wildflower lined hedgerow lanes and woodlands of bluebells. Lauren told me she wanted her wedding to not feel like your usual traditional wedding - it was just them, their parents and two daughters and Lauren even opted for a beautiful blue-grey embroidered gown. With ethereal spring posies by Lafonia, the most magical floral installation providing an arch in the woodshed for their ceremony and a natural blossom cake by Oona’s cakes, it was the most perfect, merry little day filled with children’s laughter, pink lemonades and ducks quacking in the pond.
