Sammy & Alex’s folksy boho wedding on a cliff by the sea in Cornwall
Wedding Photography and Videography
Romantic and ethereal
Alex always knew she wanted to be married at Polhawn Fort. Since her University days, she had been visiting the Rame Peninsula with her friends and had fallen in love with this corner of the earth straight away. With years of happy memories between them spent on these shores, there was no question of where it might take place once Sammy proposed to Alex in the salty seas of the Hebridean islands and they began planning their wedding.
Lovers of nature and adventure and living in the moment, they wanted a day filled with good food, even better music and delicious coffee. They kicked off the day with a dunk in the deep blue sea before a candle lit ceremony at the local peninsula church. With the candles twinkling and the sea shanty folk band playing accordians and singing the old songs of yesteryear, warmth and joy flooded the church, getting everybody ready for the folk band parade that would lead the congregation from the church on foot, along the winding clifftop paths to the iconic fort perched precariously on the edge of the Rame coast.
The day was filled with festivities and endless dancing. It was truly one of those days where good energy radiated from every corner and smiling was infectious. Great music and food really do create such an atmosphere but none so much as these sweet souls and the wonderful company they kept. It really was such a privilege to be chosen by them to be their wedding photographer and videographers.
